What are the top colleges for psychology in Boston?

Hey guys, I'm a junior right now and I've been considering a major in psychology. Moreover, I'm kinda drawn to Boston with all its history and vibrant student life. Can anyone suggest good colleges in Boston known for their psychology program?

There are several great colleges in Boston known for their strong psychology programs.

1. Harvard University: As one of the top ranked universities both nationally and internationally, Harvard's Psychology department is certainly notable. They offer a variety of concentrations within the field, with a focused approach on research. From cognitive neuroscience to evolutionary psychology, their course offerings are incredibly varied and expansive.

2. Boston University (BU): BU's Psychology undergraduate program focuses on research, theory, and practice. They also give students the opportunity to complete research projects and collaborate with faculty on their research.

3. Boston College (BC): BC's Psychology program provides students with a strong foundation in the field, while still allowing for individual flexibility with their course selections. Their focus areas include developmental and clinical psychology, and they also have a well-regarded counseling psychology graduate program.

4. Northeastern University: Northeastern's program allows students to participate in research and co-op programs that give them access to real world experiences in psychology. With a large emphasis on experiential learning, it presents a unique opportunity for undergraduate students.

Remember as you look at each of these schools to consider not only their programs, but also whether the overall college culture and environment align with what you're looking for in your undergraduate experience. Boston's a great city with a lot of opportunities for students, so you can't really go wrong with any of these choices!
