Taking College Classes in the Military: Hows and Whens?

Been in active service for a bit and now, I'm thinking of taking some college classes alongside. Anyone here had luck with this? If so, how did you enroll in the classes? Which colleges are more military-friendly for this kind of learning? Thanks for any and all help!
