Feel a little stressed, but I'm trying to solidify my college list and I'm thinking about going into clinical psychology. Are there any colleges known for their strong programs in this field? Thanks in advance!

Absolutely, there are several colleges recognized for their strong programs in Clinical Psychology.

Starting off, the University of California--Los Angeles (UCLA) is renowned for its Psychology program, including Clinical Psychology. This program prepares undergraduates with rigorous coursework and research experience.

Moving east, the University of Michigan--Ann Arbor (UofM) also has a distinguished Psychology department. Their undergraduate program provides a broad coverage of the discipline and offers plenty of research opportunities with faculty.

Similarly, Stanford University in Palo Alto, California offers a robust undergraduate psychology program, which delves into biological, cognitive, developmental, and social psychology; perfect for those interested in a future in clinical psychology.

The University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) is also a strong contender with its Psychology department offering a good foundation for aspiring clinical psychologists. They have a variety of sub-fields where students can concentrate their studies, which can be a great advantage.

Lastly, Washington University in St. Louis (WashU) has a highly rated undergraduate psychology program that is quite research-focused, giving students hands-on experience that would serve them very well if they pursue clinical psychology.

All of these campuses offer you the chance to deepen your understanding through research and applied experiences. Before settling on your final list, it might be a good idea to spend some time researching each college's course offerings, faculty, research opportunities, internship programs, and career outcomes for psychology majors.
