Can I Get College Credits with a GED for the Military?

I've recently completed my GED and I'm considering going into the military. How exactly do I go about transferring my GED into college credits for use in the military? Is it even possible?

While a GED does not directly translate into college credits, it does help you meet the minimum education requirements for joining the military, which then opens up a range of opportunities for gaining college credits.

One common path is to take advantage of military training programs. Many branches of the military, such as the Air Force and Army, offer job-specific training programs that can often be converted to college credits.
