Considering leaving college for the military

Hey there, I'm currently in my second year of college and I've been seriously contemplating leaving to join the military. My reason is that I've always known that I want to serve but I was initially convinced that getting a degree first would be best. Now, I'm not so sure. I was wondering if there's anyone here who has left college for the military or knows someone who has? What was that transition like? How did it affect your career trajectory?
