Seeking information on military-friendly colleges

I'm a junior trying to plan my future. My family has a military background. Can anybody drop names of the best military-friendly colleges known for advanced education programs?

Absolutely, several colleges in the United States are widely recognized for their strong support for military students.

The first one that comes to mind is the American Military University (AMU). AMU is an online school that was founded by a former Marine Corps officer to cater explicitly to the educational needs of the military. Offering flexible schedules for military students, AMU provides a variety of degree programs ranging from Business to Criminal Justice.

Another excellent institution is the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). They have a strong history of serving the military, and they offer various programs that can be completed online, which is helpful for those who may be on active duty or need to relocate frequently.

Likewise, George Washington University has a strong reputation as a military-friendly institution. They have a Military and Veteran Services office dedicated to supporting military students, and a range of degree programs to accommodate varied career paths.

Texas A&M is also quite notable. In addition to being large and well-respected, Texas A&M's Corps of Cadets is one of the largest uniformed student bodies outside the service academies.

Pennsylvania State University’s "World Campus" program offers more than 150 accredited graduate degrees, undergraduate degrees, certificates, and minors. Penn State also accepts military tuition assistance and offers some military grant-in-aid.

These schools not only understand the unique challenges military students face but also provide resources to ensure their academic and career success. Remember to reach out to any schools of interest to understand how they can cater to your specific requirements as a military student.
