Does Georgia Military College require the ACCUPLACER test?

Hey all! I'm applying to Georgia Military College and I wanted to know if they require the ACCUPLACER test for their admissions process. Cannot seem to find this information on their website. Any information on this?

Yes, Georgia Military College (GMC) does use the ACCUPLACER test as a part of its admissions process. The ACCUPLACER test is a suite of exams that were developed to help colleges assess student readiness for introductory credit-bearing college coursework. At GMC, they use the results of the ACCUPLACER to place students in the appropriate level of courses for their academic skill level.

For some students, taking the ACCUPLACER might not be necessary. GMC typically requires the ACCUPLACER for students who do not have valid ACT or SAT scores, or for students whose SAT or ACT subscores do not meet the minimum requirements for certain subjects. Lastly, students who have taken college-level classes and earned a C or higher may also not be required to take the ACCUPLACER. The best course of action would be to either call or email the admissions office to get a definitive answer. They can guide you on whether or not you need to take it based on your specific circumstances.
