Housing at Georgia Military College

Hi everyone, I'm seriously thinking about going to Georgia Military College after high school. What's the housing situation like over there? Are there dorms or do students mostly live off-campus?

Hello! Georgia Military College is a bit unique in its housing situation. At the Milledgeville campus, which is the only residential campus, they do offer on-campus housing. There are multiple dormitory buildings where students live, divided by gender.

Each dorm has rooms equipped with bunk beds and desks and shared bathrooms. Residents also have access to the mess hall for meals. It's a similar setup to what you might find in military academies or basic training facilities, reflecting the military culture of the college. These accommodations foster a sense of community and cooperation among the student body.

A notable aspect of their housing is that it comes with mandatory participation in the college's ROTC program, in line with their mission to develop citizen-soldiers. Students who choose to live off-campus don't have to participate in the program, unless they're on an army scholarship.
