Best marketing and advertising colleges in California?

Hello, just your average junior here looking for some advice. I want to major in either marketing or advertising and I want to stay in California for college. Anybody knows which schools offer the best programs for this here?

Sure, I'm happy to help! Given that you're interested in staying within California and pursuing a major in Marketing or Advertising, there are several great schools you would want to consider.

Firstly, The University of Southern California (USC) has a highly-ranked business program with a fantastic marketing major. Specifically, USC's Marshall School of Business offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing that covers a wide range of areas including advertising, digital marketing, and consumer behavior.

Next, consider the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business. While they don't have a specific undergraduate marketing major, they offer a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration where you can choose electives focused on marketing. The college is known for its rigorous program and high-quality faculty.

Other strong options include Pepperdine University's Graziadio Business School and Loyola Marymount University's College of Business Administration, both of which offer comprehensive marketing programs.

Lastly, don't overlook California State University's (CSU) campuses. Places like CSU Fullerton's Mihaylo College of Business and Economics or San Diego State University's Fowler College of Business have strong marketing programs with a variety of course offerings.

Ultimately, your choice should depend on your particular interests within marketing/advertising, the kind of college experience you seek (large vs. small, urban vs. suburban), and financial considerations. Reach out to current students, faculty, or alumni from these schools to get a feel for what each program is like.

Best of luck with your college search!
