Disliking aspects of college life

So I'm getting ready for applying to colleges and this thought randomly popped up. What was your least favorite thing about college? Could be academic, social, or just about anything else. Just want to know what I might be walking into.

From my perspective, one of the most challenging aspects of college life has been time management - balancing your academic workload with extracurricular activities, social events, and personal wellness is often harder than expected. Especially in the first year, the transition from a structured high school setting to the more flexible college schedule can be a bit of an adjustment.

Another commonly mentioned point by students is dealing with feelings of stress or overwhelm, especially during midterms and finals. Without a system of organization or good study habits, it's easy to feel swamped by all the assignments and exams.

That being said, college is also a place for growth. While these challenges exist, they offer opportunities for you to learn how to handle these situations and develop essential life skills like resilience, time management, and self-care.

Remember, colleges typically have resources like academic advisors, counseling centers, and peer mentor programs to provide support for these very issues. Just knowing these services exist and using them when necessary can make a big difference!
