Colleges with High Asian Student Populations

Hi all! I'm an Asian student and was wondering if anyone has a list of schools with the most Asian students. Any insight would be appreciated!

Absolutely, I can provide some information on this topic. When discussing colleges with a high percentage of Asian students, many of the University of California (UC) schools often come up. They tend to have quite diverse student populations with a significant number of Asian students. These include UC Berkeley, UC Los Angeles, UC San Diego, UC Irvine, and UC Davis.

Besides UC schools, other colleges with a high Asian student population are the University of Southern California, New York University, Carnegie Mellon University, Boston University, and the University of Washington.

Private universities such as Stanford, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Caltech also tend to have a substantial proportion of Asian students.

In addition, you might want to consider international universities, especially those in Asia, such as the University of Hong Kong or National University of Singapore, if you're open to studying outside of the U.S.

However, keep in mind that the student population's racial/ethnic breakdown should only be one factor among many when selecting colleges. You want to make sure that the school's academics, location, campus culture, availability of extracurriculars, and other factors fit your needs and preferences. Plus, diversity can come in many forms beyond race and ethnicity, so you might also want to look into aspects like socioeconomic diversity, geographic diversity, etc.
