Hey everyone, so here's the thing. I'm starting to look into military colleges in the US but it's somewhat overwhelming with the amount of info out there. On what basis should I be narrowing down my options? What should be the key factors to consider when searching for a good military college?

When looking for a suitable military college, there are a number of factors you'll want to consider. An important first step would be understanding the type of experience and education you're looking for.

1. Type of Military College: There are senior military colleges, service academies, and military junior colleges. Senior military colleges like Virginia Military Institute and The Citadel, for example, offer traditional four-year degrees and tend to have a high commission rate. Service academies like West Point or the Navy's Naval Academy are highly competitive and fully funded.
