Cost of college: Why is the most expensive college in Illinois so pricey?

Hey there, I'm a junior from Illinois and have started looking at colleges for next year. I noticed that the most expensive college in Illinois is way above my budget. Does anybody have any idea why it is so expensive? Are there any benefits or justifications for such a high tuition fee?

From what I've been able to understand, certain colleges and universities, especially private ones, often have higher price tags for several reasons.
