Which Florida colleges have waived the SAT requirement?

Hello everyone! I'm trying to target some schools in Florida, and I'm a bit stressed about test scores. Does anyone know which colleges in Florida have decided not to require the SAT for upcoming admissions?

It's completely understandable to feel anxious about test scores—they've been a traditional part of college admissions for so long. Great news, though: Many schools are moving toward test-optional policies, which means you can choose whether or not to submit SAT scores.

In Florida, as of my last check, schools like Florida State University, the University of Florida, and the University of Miami have adopted test-optional policies. However, these policies are subject to change, and it's crucial to check each school's admissions website for the most current information.

Also, even if you don't submit SAT scores, you'll want to ensure that other aspects of your application, like your GPA, extracurricular involvement, and essays, are strong. Test-optional doesn't mean less competitive, so use this opportunity to highlight your other achievements and talents. Wishing you the best as you navigate your applications!
