Which colleges see the most applications worldwide?

Hi, I'm just curious and would love to know, which colleges around the world get the most applications? Is there a list or rankings available? Thanks for your help!

While exact rankings might fluctuate from year to year, several universities consistently receive a high volume of applications. Domestic and international students alike flock to these institutions due to their strong reputations, comprehensive course offerings, and, in many cases, the allure of specific geographic locations.

In the United States, some universities that typically see a large number of applicants include the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley), and the University of Southern California (USC). All of these universities receive over 100,000 applications annually. In addition, New York University (NYU) is also known for having a high number of applicants.

Internationally, University of Toronto in Canada, and University of Melbourne in Australia are also sought after by a significant number of applicants.

Comfortable climates, vibrant city life, and prestigious academic reputations contribute to the appeal of these universities. Please note that high application numbers can also mean increased competition, as these schools have limited spots in their incoming classes. Always remember to consider a school's fit for your specific goals and needs, in addition to its reputation and popularity.
