What's the deal with Ranked 'Least Diverse' US Colleges?

I stumbled upon a list ranking US colleges based on diversity, and I was surprised to see some of the colleges I'm considering are among the least diverse. Why is this the case, and should this impact my college decision?

A college's ranking on diversity lists can be influenced by various factors.
