Looking for high enrollment colleges

Hello, I'm a junior trying to assemble a college list. I think I'd prefer larger colleges since I like the hustle and bustle of a big campus. Can anyone share colleges that have a high number of enrolled students? On the same note, if you can share your personal experience going to a big school that would be greatly appreciated too!

If you're interested in high enrollment colleges with larger student populations, I can definitely help you identify some! Here are a few universities that have notably large student numbers:

1. University of Central Florida: With over 60,000 students, it's currently one of the largest universities by enrollment in the U.S.

2. Texas A&M University: Known for its large student body of 70,000+ students and strong college spirit.

3. Ohio State University: It usually has over 60,000 students enrolled across its various campuses.

4. Florida International University: It has a diverse student body of about 50,000+ students.

5. University of Texas at Austin: This campus houses over 50,000 students, providing a vibrant atmosphere.

It can't be understated that, with large universities, you'll often find a broad range of academic courses and disciplines available, a diverse selection of extracurricular activities, and a substantial variety of dining and housing options. Nonetheless, some students report that navigating such large academic institutions can sometimes feel impersonal or overwhelming. Therefore, consider whether these big environments will suit your personal learning and social preferences.

Lastly, it's worth mentioning that many colleges offer admitted student days or virtual tours. These can give prospective students a stronger sense of what the campus culture is like and help you assess the fit and feel of larger campuses. If you can, take advantage of these events to capture a better picture of what attending a larger institution might look like. Good luck with your college search!
