Pennsylvania Military College Information

I'm pretty set on joining the military after high school, but I also want to get my degree. I recently came across a reference to Pennsylvania Military College. Can anyone provide some information about it, its reputation, academics, especially if there's something like a 'boardwalk bowl'? Whatever that might be.

Pennsylvania Military College, often abbreviated as PMC, is now known as Widener University, after a change of focus and branding in 1972.
