Colleges with few NFL players?

Just some curiosity here. Does anyone know which colleges send the least players to the NFL? I don't really care about football, just want to be in a place where sports doesn't overshadow academics.

While deciding on a college based on the number of NFL players it produces may not provide an accurate reflection of its academic culture, I understand where you're coming from. There are a lot of schools out there where the emphasis on athletics is minimized compared to academics.

The Ivy League schools, which include Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, and the University of Pennsylvania, are renowned for their academic rigor and research programs. While they do have football programs, these schools aren't recognized for sending many players to the NFL. They prioritize academics over sports, which could align with your preference.

Liberal arts colleges such as Swarthmore, Williams, and Amherst are also more focused on academics than athletics, especially football. Their football programs aren't typically feeders for the NFL, and they concentrate more on providing a well-rounded education in a close-knit community.

University of Chicago, a top-tier academic institution, discontinued its football program for many years because the school wanted to prioritize academics, although football was eventually reintroduced.

These are just some examples, and there are other universities that prioritize academics over sport. Besides considering the number of NFL players a college produces, you may want to look at the culture of the campus, talk to current or former students, and see how much emphasis is placed on sports compared to other aspects of campus life. That could give you a more comprehensive picture.
