Colleges with less white students?

Hey, I hope I'm not stirring up anything, but could anyone enlighten me on colleges that have less white students? I'm interested in a diverse environment as it provides different perspectives and experiences.

Certainly, diversity in a college environment can definitely provide a rich array of perspectives and offer opportunities for increased cultural understandings. To help in your search, I'll provide mention relatively diverse colleges and universities with less than 50% white students.

1. University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) — UCLA reports that about 25% of its students are White.

2. University of Southern California (USC) — USC also has a diverse student body, with approximately 23% of students being white.

3. University of Houston — In Texas, the University of Houston is quite diverse, with white students constituting about 19% of the student body.

4. Howard University — An Historically Black College/University (HBCU) located in Washington, D.C., Howard University has a long-standing tradition of serving primarily African American students.

5. Stanford University — Known for its strong commitment to diversity, as of 2023, White students made up about 24% of Stanford’s undergraduate student population.

Remember, every college environment is unique and will reflect its own distinctive blend of cultures, backgrounds, and ideas. It's always advisable to visit a campus or connect with current students or alumni to grasp the authentic feeling of diversity at the college. Good luck with your college search process!
