Absolutely, there are several military-friendly colleges in Connecticut. One notable example is the University of Connecticut (UConn), which has been recognized for its support for veterans and active-duty military members. UConn is one of several colleges nationwide that participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which can help you cover out-of-state, private school, or graduate school tuition that the Post-9/11 GI Bill doesn’t cover. UConn also provides a comprehensive range of services to its military-affiliated students through the UConn Office of Veterans Affairs and Military Programs.

Additionally, Quinnipiac University has been cited as a military-friendly school and provides a dedicated department for veterans' resources, including assistance with accessing and maximizing your military benefits. Fairfeld University, another college in Connecticut, also provides a range of resources to support military-affiliated students, including special scholarships, academic support, and career development opportunities.

Lastly, if you're considering a community college route, Norwalk Community College has received recognition for its veterans services and provides a counseling program specialized for veterans along with priority registration.

Remember, being "military-friendly" isn't just about accepting the GI Bill — look for schools with dedicated resources for military students, such as advisors who understand your benefits, flexible course load options, credit for military training, and a community of other military-affiliated students.

Consider reaching out to these schools directly to get more detailed information about their specific resources for military students. Your decision should also factor in your academic and career goals, so make sure the college offers the majors or programs you're interested in.
