College football playoff predictions?

Who would you guys say are the most probable college football teams to make the playoffs this upcoming season? And why do you think so?

As someone with a keen interest in college sports, I think there are a few criteria we often look at in terms of probable playoff candidates. This includes team performance in previous seasons, the talent and experience of the players, coaching staff, strength of schedule, and the depth of their respective conferences.

As for specific teams, Alabama is a perennial contender that has been strong for years under the leadership of Coach Nick Saban, and they consistently recruit top class high school talent. Similar could be said about Clemson Tigers, led by coach Dabo Swinney. Both teams have great depth and excellent coaching.

Then there’s Ohio State from the Big Ten, who have also been consistently powerful and in the playoff conversation. Despite the loss of some key players, they always manage to rejuvenate with new talent.

And we can't ignore Oklahoma from the Big 12. They’ve consistently played at high level with their formidable offense, although they'll need to demonstrate improvement in their defensive game to be included in the playoffs this season.

Lastly, in the Pac-12, Oregon has been performing well consistently, and with key returning players they could also be a team to look out for this season.
