Military Colleges in DC?

What’s up everyone. I'm living near DC and trying to look into my options for after graduation. Are there any military colleges in or near D.C that someone can suggest or share experiences from?

Sure, there are a few military-related educational institutions in or near Washington D.C. Here are some options you might want to consider:

1. United States Naval Academy - This prestigious institution is located in Annapolis, Maryland, which is about an hour's drive from Washington D.C. They offer 25 distinct academic majors and prepare young men and women to become professional officers in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.

2. Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) - Located in Bethesda, Maryland, the USUHS provides education and training in the health sciences for uniformed personnel of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Public Health Service.

3. George Washington University NROTC - This program, offered at George Washington University in D.C., provides training and education that prepares its graduates to serve as commissioned officers in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.

4. Georgetown University Army ROTC - This college in Washington D.C. offers Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) program designed to train students as future officers. It can lead to a commission in the U.S. Army, the Army Reserve, or the Army National Guard after graduation.

5. Virginia Military Institute (VMI) - Roughly three hours from D.C., in Lexington, Virginia, VMI is a part of the "Public Ivies,” a collection of universities that offer an Ivy League-level education in a public university.

Each of these schools offers unique opportunities, so my best advice is to research each one to determine which aligns most closely with your interests and career goals. You might want to consider factors such as school size, location, majors offered, cost, ROTC program details, and post-graduation opportunities.
