What are the least liberal degree options?

Hi everyone! I'm a high school junior and I'm pretty conservative. I'm starting to think about what I might want to study in college. I was wondering if anyone could tell me about some college degrees that typically attract less liberal-minded students. I'd love to hear your insights.

While it's important to remember that political leanings can vary greatly within any field of study, there are certain college degrees that tend to attract more conservative-minded students. Often, these are fields that emphasize tradition, pragmatism, and individualism.

For instance, Business Administration or Economics degrees often draw students who appreciate free-market principles and entrepreneurial spirit. Many of these programs focus on practical knowledge and real-world applications of theory which might appeal to a conservative mindset.

Degrees in disciplines like Agriculture, Forestry, or Environmental Science might also interest you if you value rural communities or hands-on conservation work. These subjects often involve studying the real-world effects of policies and regulations.

Military Science, offered in colleges across the country, usually attracts conservative students. This field of study prepares students for careers in the military and also often instills values such as discipline and respect for hierarchy.

Similarly, law enforcement or criminal justice degrees might appeal to you if you have a conservative worldview and wish to uphold and enforce established legal codes.

Finally, STEM fields, particularly engineering, sometimes draw more conservative students, although political leanings in these areas can be quite mixed.

While these programs may statistically have more conservative students, remember that it's beneficial to interact with a diverse set of viewpoints at college. A range of perspectives can strengthen your own beliefs and expand your understanding.
