Which are the most popular colleges in the US?

I've been doing tons of research on colleges lately and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with the amount of information out there. I was just hoping to know what some of the most well-known or reputable colleges are in the US. Is it mostly the Ivy League ones or are there others I should consider? Appreciate any advice!
