Which colleges offer the most NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) money?

Hey everyone, I've been keeping up with the whole NIL policy change in NCAA. Can someone tell me which colleges offer the most money through this route? I'd appreciate any information you have as I think this can be a deciding factor while choosing a college for athletes like me.

While the new NIL regulations are definitely an exciting development for student-athletes, it's important to note that the money isn't directly offered by the colleges themselves. Instead, they're made possible by partnerships with businesses and individuals who are interested in leveraging the athletes' Name, Image, and Likeness rights for promotional and other purposes.

As a result, the amount of money that student-athletes can potentially earn via NIL deals can vary quite a bit from place to place, largely getting influenced by the size and engagement levels of their fanbase, the presence of professional sports teams in the area, and the local business environment. Also, the sport you play and your prominence in it could be a factor.

However, it's been observed that schools with strong athletic brand recognition and a dedicated fan base, particularly in football and basketball, seem to present more lucrative NIL opportunities. Traditional powerhouses in these sports, such as the University of Alabama, Clemson University, the University of Texas, Duke University, and the University of Kentucky, are some examples. But again, this is subject to fluctuations as the NIL landscape evolves.
