Military-friendly colleges in San Antonio?

I'm currently serving and interested in furthering my education. Does anyone know of any military-friendly colleges in San Antonio that have good programs for veterans or active-duty military personnel?

Absolutely, San Antonio is home to a number of colleges that are known for their support towards veterans and active-duty military personnel.

The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) is a good option to consider. UTSA has a Veterans and Military Affairs department dedicated to helping military-affiliated students. They provide access to a variety of resources like priority registration, academic advising, and financial aid assistance, making the transition to civilian life a bit easier.

St. Mary's University is another institution that's highly regarded for its military-friendly policies. They have a Military and Veteran Program that offers help with educational benefits, counseling, and career services.

Another possibility is the Alamo Colleges District, which includes five community colleges in the San Antonio area. They have an Office of Veterans Affairs that helps military personnel and dependents with their GI Bill benefits and other military educational programs.

Finally, Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) is worth considering. They offer a wide range of scholarships and other educational benefits for active-duty military personnel, veterans and their dependents.

However, it's worth noting that "military-friendly" may mean different things depending on your specific needs. Therefore, it would be beneficial for you to directly connect with these institutions or visit their respective websites to gather more information pertaining to your specific interests and needs. They may have more specific programs or resources to offer that could better align with your career goals.

Good luck with your search!
