Colleges that are known to be military-friendly?

Hey everyone! I'm a junior and considering the military after high school. My plan is to eventually attend college but I want to make sure that the schools I'm interested in are military-friendly. I've Googled but would love to hear recommendations or experiences from actual students.

Friendly to current military members and veterans? You're in good company. There are many colleges that indeed cater to military students, especially those who may have unique needs due to their service.

Arizona State University has a long-standing history of being military-friendly, offering a dedicated Pat Tillman Veterans Center to support military students, which includes advising, counseling, and a Military Enrollment Community.

As another option, Columbia University hosts the School of General Studies which is specifically designed for non-traditional students, including veterans. In fact, their university has the largest population of undergraduate and graduate student veterans within the Ivy League.

The University of Southern California also has a variety of resources and a dedicated office for military students. USC's Office of Military and Veterans Affairs is designed to assist all veteran students with academic success, housing, and campus life.

Also, consider that many colleges participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which makes additional funds available for your education program without an additional charge to your GI Bill entitlement.
