Conservative Colleges in Illinois?

Hey folks, I'm starting to look into colleges and I'm really interested in staying close to home (live in Illinois). I have conservative values and really want a college that reflects that. Any ideas on the most conservative colleges in Illinois?

Wheaton College, located in Wheaton, Illinois, is a Christian-oriented college with a reputation for a conservative student body and faculty. It's known for its strong academic programs, devoted faculty, and close-knit community, which many conservative students find appealing. It includes strong programs in theology, biology, and psychology, among others.

Another option to consider is the College of the Ozarks, which, while located in Missouri, is relatively near to your home state. Known as "Hard Work U," it is well-known for its conservative character and cost-conscious philosophy where students work on campus in lieu of paying tuition.

Lastly, Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois is an evangelical Christian university that might align with your values. It's not as widely known as Wheaton but it has strong programs in Religion, Business, and Education.

Do note that despite a college having a conservative reputation, you'll likely encounter a diverse range of views and ideologies on most campuses. This diversity can provide an enriching and broadening educational experience. Many universities strive to foster an environment where a wide variety of beliefs and ideas can be openly discussed and debated.
