Why do College Students Enlist in the Military?

Hello everyone, just curious why some college students decide to enlist in the military. Does anyone have insights on this? Is it common for people to leave their studies in order to serve?

Personal Growth and Discipline: The disciplined structure of the military can encourage personal growth. The rigors of military training can develop attributes like responsibility, organization, and leadership that can be beneficial in both personal and professional contexts.
