Which college class is failed the most often?

Y'all, this might be a weird question, but I'm trying to understand what to expect when I hit higher education. So, which college class is most often failed? Is it different depending on the major, or is there one that's universally accepted as super tough? Thanks for any insights!

The answer to your question can vary, as it often depends on the college and the student's major. However, some of the classes commonly seen as challenging include:

1. Organic Chemistry: This is typically a requirement for pre-med and some science majors. Since the concepts in this class can be pretty tough, it's not uncommon for a decent number of students to struggle with it.

2. Physics: This is also a common requirement for science and engineering majors, and it’s one of those courses where abstract concepts marry mathematical rigor, and it can be really tricky for a lot of students.

3. Calculus: Typically a requirement for math, engineering, or science majors. Many students find this class quite challenging, especially if they haven't built a solid foundation in previous math classes.

4. Philosophy: The abstract and often complex theories discussed in philosophy courses can be very tough, especially for those not used to such critical thinking or writing-intensive courses.

5. Economics: For many, the abstract and mathematical nature of economics, especially micro and macroeconomics, can prove to be challenging.

However, it's important to know that difficulty can really depend on the individual student, the professor, and the resources available. If you're worried about a particular class, it would be a good idea to prepare yourself before you take it. You could do this by brushing up on necessary skills, seeking out available resources such as tutoring or study groups, and talking to others who have taken the course to get advice and tips. That way, you're not heading into it blind!
