Aspiration for Prestigious Institutions

Hello everyone, I'm doing some college research and am curious, what are considered to be the most prestigious colleges in the US? And what makes them so highly acclaimed?

When we talk about prestigious colleges in the U.S., the names that often come to mind are those in the Ivy League, which includes Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Dartmouth, Brown, the University of Pennsylvania, and Cornell. These schools are renowned for their rigorous academic programs, resources, research facilities, and faculty expertise. They've also historically produced a large number of successful graduates.

In addition to Ivy League schools, Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), California Institute of Technology (Caltech), University of Chicago, and Duke University are also highly prestigious. These institutions hold strong reputations for their specific programs.
