Which colleges have the most international students?

Hi everyone! As a student who's not from the US, I'm looking to study at a university that's really international student-friendly. I was wondering if any of you guys know which colleges have the most international students. Would be a bonus if these universities had great resources/support for us too.

Absolutely! Several colleges and universities in the U.S. welcome a sizable number of international students each year. Here are some of them:

1. New York University (NYU): NYU has a reputation for having a robust international student body. The university is infused with an international flair, thanks in part to its numerous study-abroad programs and campuses in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai. They also offer a wide array of resources designed to support international students.

2. University of Southern California (USC): At USC, you'll find a vibrant international student population. They offer excellent academic programs tailored to international standards, and the university is well-known for supporting its community through the Office of International Services.

3. Northeastern University: Northeastern attracts students from more than 140 countries. The university provides an Office of Global Services that supports international students' transition to U.S. intuitions and organizes various culturally enriching activities.

4. Columbia University: Columbia is quite cosmopolitan, with students coming from over 160 countries. The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) at Columbia offers various services and organizes programs that help international students adjust to life in the U.S.

5. University of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign: UIUC is another college with a diverse student body. They have the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) offering a wide range of resources and events for their international community.

These universities not only boast a diverse international student population but also significant resources to ensure their educational journey in the U.S. is smooth and culturally enriching. Of course, having a high number of international students does not necessarily equate to being international student-friendly, so you should also research the types of support and resources these schools offer to their international students. A balanced student life offering social opportunities, cultural experiences, and academic support is also vital. Remember to look beyond the numbers and consider the overall value the institution provides to its international students when making your decision.
