Military online colleges with automotive programs

Hey there, I'm interested in pursuing automotive studies, but I also want to do something with the military post-high school. I've heard there are online college programs that offer this. If such programs exist within a military setup, could you please provide more information on this?

Certainly! It's great that you're considering combining your interest in automotive studies with military service. Various branches of the U.S. Military offer tuition assistance and online learning options, which can benefit service members pursuing higher education.

One such option is the Army's eArmyU program which provides online learning opportunities for active-duty personnel. While it doesn't offer automotive programs directly, the program does partner with many colleges and universities that offer automotive study courses. You could use the tuition assistance provided by the military to pursue these programs.

Another route to consider might be the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF). This is a federally chartered degree-granting institution that serves the United States Air Force's enlisted total force. They've partnered with over 111 affiliated Air Force schools and most of their courses are offered online.

While you won't find automotive study programs, you might find some interesting related programs like Avionic Systems Technology, or mechanical and electrical technology programs, which could provide a great foundation for a career in automotive studies. Additionally, because CCAF credits are regionally accredited, they can be transferred to a four-year institution to pursue further studies in automotive fields.

Remember, while serving in the military, you're also likely to receive technical and mechanical training that might be beneficial in your automotive studies. This experiential learning can be a great complement to your online coursework.

After your service, you can also take advantage of the GI Bill which can assist in covering the costs of your education at a school that offers a more traditional automotive studies program.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Stay driven and best of luck with your future endeavors!
