School with Most College Softball Championships?

Hi all! I'm a junior looking to play softball in college and I was curious, does anyone know which college has won the most softball championships? Does winning championships correlate directly with the quality of the program they're running?

The college with the most NCAA Division I softball championships is the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with 12 titles as of the time of this response. The University of Oklahoma and the University of Arizona aren't too far behind with 8 titles each.

However, it's important to remember that the number of championships won by a college doesn't necessarily directly reflect the quality of the program they're running today. Many factors contribute to a college softball program's quality, including coaching staff, player development, facilities, academics, and overall college experience.
