Options when you can't afford college or qualify for military?

OK so I'm in a bit of a pickle here. I'm deeply worried about my post-high school options. What if I'm unable to afford college and I don't qualify for military service due to certain reasons? Are there any other good alternatives that can lead to a stable career? Is vocational training a good option?
