Colleges with the Most Clubs

Hey, I'm very much into joining clubs to keep myself engaged outside the classroom. So, I would like to know, which colleges offer the most variety in student organizations and clubs?

While many colleges offer impressive numbers of clubs, a few stand out with particularly high numbers of student organizations.

At Pennsylvania State University (aka Penn State), there are reportedly over 1,000 student organizations and clubs. These range from cultural clubs, and theater groups, to volunteer and service organizations.

Another institution with a mammoth variety of clubs is The Ohio State University. This institution hosts over 1,400 different student-led organizations. With these spectacular arrays of clubs, you're almost guaranteed to find something that matches your interests.

The University of Texas at Austin is noted for its club diversity as well, with over 1,100 registered student organizations. Everything from arts, culture, sports, community service, and academic-based organizations can be found here.

In the Ivy League, Cornell University stands out with more than 1,000 registered clubs. Whether you're into dragon boat racing or simply want to join a cappella group, you can do that at Cornell because they offer a very wide range of clubs and organizations.

Remember, the sheer number of clubs should not be the only factor when choosing a college. You also want to dig a little deeper to see if the clubs align with your specific hobbies and interests. So, once you've made a shortlist of colleges, do some research on each institution's website or contact their student affairs office for a more detailed list of their clubs and organizations.
