Class rings for college seniors?

I've seen high school class rings, but now I'm curious... do most college seniors get a class ring too? Or is it not that common?

While class rings are a more common tradition in high school, some college seniors do choose to purchase one as a symbol of their academic journey and achievement. However, whether or not college seniors get a class ring largely depends on the individual and the school's own traditions.

Some colleges, such as The Citadel or Texas A&M, have robust ring traditions where receiving a class ring is a significant rite of passage and a big event on campus. In these cases, a large percentage of the graduating class may get a ring. On the other hand, at many colleges, class rings aren't as prevalent or celebrated. The decision often comes down to personal preference and cost considerations. It's not uncommon for college seniors to opt not to get a ring, especially given the expense.

In any case, there isn't a typical behavior that applies to all college seniors. It's a choice that each student gets to make based on their own values, preferences, and finances.
