Earnings After College: Which U.S. Community Colleges Lead to The Highest Salaries?

Hey everyone, I'm looking to maximize my potential income after graduation. Anyone know which community colleges graduates tend to go on to make the most in the U.S.?

I can offer some information, although it should be noted that your earnings depend largely on your degree field and career path, and not solely on the college itself.

However, there are certain community colleges where the graduates tend to have higher salaries on average after graduation.

The College of San Mateo, De Anza College, and Foothill College are among the top community colleges in the US in terms of graduate salary. It's worth mentioning that these colleges are all located in California, where the cost of living is higher, and average salaries tend to be higher overall.

Texas-based community colleges like Lee College and Kilgore College also have average graduate salaries that are quite high. In addition, graduates of Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and Lakes Region Community College in New Hampshire, tend to earn more than the national average for community college graduates.

Another good resource is the College Scorecard website maintained by the U.S. Department of Education. This resource allows you to sort colleges by the average salary of students 10 years after beginning at the college.

Again, remember that there are a variety of factors influencing the potential income, including the field of study, the local job market, and the cost of living in the college's area. A degree that leads to a high-paying job in one area might not have the same outcome in another part of the country.
