Which colleges have the most sports?

Hey there! I'm super into sports and want to make sure wherever I end up for college has a wide variety of sports teams. Not planning on going pro or anything, but I'd love to have the chance to try out some new sports in college. Any suggestions?

Definitely, there are many colleges with a comprehensive range of sports! Here are some that you might want to consider:

1. Stanford University: Known for the largest athletic program in NCAA Division I, Stanford offers 36 varsity sports and claims more than 120 national team championships. Known sports include rowing, fencing, and squash, amongst the more common ones.

2. Harvard University: Known to have 42 Division I sports, more than any other college at that level. Harvard also offers a variety of club and intramural sports you may be interested in.

3. Ohio State University: With 36 varsity teams, Ohio State is another school with comprehensive sports offerings, and the large student body creates demand for a range of intramural and club sports as well.

4. University of Minnesota: The university sponsors 25 men's and women’s varsity teams and has more than 700 student-athletes. They also offer countless intramural and sport club programs.

Remember, sorting out the best college fit for you isn't only about sports. Ensure to consider academic programs, campus culture, location, size, and financial aspects as well. Hope this helps!
