Which colleges boast the highest student enrollments in the US?

Hey everyone, I'm currently exploring colleges to apply to and am somewhat drawn to those with larger student populations. You know, the hustle and bustle and the multitude of perspectives seems really appealing. Any suggestions on which colleges have the highest student enrollments in the US?

If you're looking for larger universities, some of the biggest in the United States are public universities known for their big athletic programs and vibrant campus cultures. Keep in mind, that the numbers of undergraduate and graduate students combined can easily surpass 45,000 - 50,000 at these schools. Here are some examples:

1. University of Central Florida: Located in Orlando, UCF is known for its direct connection to the UCF program which guarantees admission to students who earn an associate degree at a local partnering college.

2. Texas A&M University: A large public research university located in College Station, Texas, known for its engineering, business, and agricultural programs.

3. Ohio State University: A large land-grant university located in Columbus, Ohio. Buckeyes participate in all sorts of sports and OSU boasts one of the country's most successful football programs.

4. Florida International University: Another Florida institution, located in Miami. It has a high enrollment due to a variety of popular programs, including the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management.

5. University of Texas at Austin: Known as a "Public Ivy," UT Austin has highly rated business and engineering programs.

Remember, while these universities offer a lot of activities and resources due to their size, they also come with large class sizes, especially for common, lower-level courses. Consequently, make sure you are comfortable navigating such environments and advocating for your academic needs.
