Colleges with sunniest climates?

Lifelong East Coaster here, and I'm totally done dealing with these harsh winters. So for college, I'm searching for schools that are in regions with significantly more sunshine. Any insights, guys?

There are an array of colleges located in sun-washed regions across the United States. Here are some schools that could be on your radar:

1. University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) or University of Southern California (USC): Both of these schools are situated in Los Angeles, where balmy weather and abundant sunshine are almost a given throughout the year.

2. Arizona State University (ASU): Located in Tempe, ASU enjoys over 300 days of sunshine and easily accessible outdoor recreational activities.

3. University of Miami: Based in Coral Gables, Florida, UM is known for its lush tropical campus and frequent sunshine.

4. University of Hawaii at Manoa: Not only is this school located in a paradise-like setting, but it also has a solid reputation for its research efforts and variety of majors.

5. University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin): Austin not only offers plenty of sunshine but also a vibrant city culture filled with music, art, and food.

6. California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly SLO): If you are keen on STEM programs, Cal Poly SLO can offer near year-round sun coupled with top-tier academics.

7. San Diego State University (SDSU): This school offers an exciting mix of academic rigor and beach-going weather.

Remember, campus visits are recommended if possible to ensure the culture and atmosphere align with your goals and personality along with the favorable weather!
