Submitting ACT or SAT Scores

I've been kinda stressed out with all these standardized tests. Do colleges usually require either ACT or SAT scores to be submitted with applications?

While standardized test scores have traditionally been a central component to many colleges' application review process, there have been significant changes recently. Plentiful research suggests that standardized test scores aren't always indicative of a student's ability to succeed in college, and as a result, many colleges and universities have adopted test-optional or test-blind policies.

However, there are still colleges that have returned to requiring standardized test scores from applicants. Notably, the schools requiring testing for the 2024-2025 application cycle include Dartmouth College, Harvard University, Purdue University, Brown University, Yale University, The University of Texas at Austin, and California Institute of Technology.

I recommend looking at the admissions requirements for each college you are considering to see their updated policy on standardized test scores.
