Colleges in Rochester with a Higher Female Population?

Hey guys, hope you're all navigating junior year alright. Can't believe we're already considering colleges. But, speaking about that, I've been doing some research, and I'd like to know about colleges in Rochester that have lots of girls. Would really appreciate your inputs on this!

Hey there! It's terrific that you're extensively researching colleges. In Rochester, several notable institutions have a higher percentage of female students.

The first one that comes to mind is the University of Rochester, one of the more renowned institutions in the area. Their undergraduate population is a bit over 50% females, making it slightly skewed towards the female demographic.

Nazareth College, known for its strong programs in health fields, education, and liberal arts, also leans heavily towards the female side. They have over 70% females in their undergraduate population.

Another option for you might be St. John Fisher College, which is a bit suburban but still near Rochester. Here too, the majority of their students are female.

Remember, it's equally important to think about what you want to major in, the size of the school, and other factors that may be important to you. Continue your research and best of luck with your college admissions journey!
