Pros and Cons of Joining the Military Later in Life

As a junior, I'm still sorting through my options for after high school. I've been looking into the idea of joining the military later in life, like after college or a few years into my career. What are the pros and cons of this choice?

3. Stability: The military can provide a level of job security, benefits, and a pension plan, which can be an attractive proposition especially in uncertain economic times.

Cons:

1. Age Limitations: Each branch of the military has its own age limits for enlistment. Depending on your age and the specific role you're seeking, this could prove to be a barrier.

2. Health and Fitness Requirements: The physical demands of military service are significant, and physical standards are not generally adjusted for age.
