Which high schools have the most number of college-bound students?

Hey there, does anybody know if there are specific high schools known for sending a large proportion of students to 4-year colleges? I'm curious about where students generally thrive academically and go on to pursue higher education.

It sounds like you're interested in high schools that have a strong culture of graduating students who go on to attend 4-year colleges. While there isn't a definitive list since this data can fluctuate from year to year, there are some high schools, particularly specialized and magnet schools, that are well-known for their robust college preparation programs.

For example, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Virginia and the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy are both renowned for a high percentage of their graduates matriculating to 4-year colleges, often those considered very selective.

The Bronx High School of Science, Brooklyn Latin School, and Stuyvesant High School in New York City also have high rates of students attending 4-year colleges. These schools are part of the group known as the Specialized High Schools of New York City, known for rigorous academics.

Similarly, private schools like Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire and Phillips Academy Andover in Massachusetts send a vast majority of their students to 4-year colleges.

However, remember that a high school's rate of sending students to 4-year colleges isn't necessarily a guarantee of success or the best fit for every student. It's equally important to find a school environment where a student feels supported, nurtured, and prepared according to their unique needs and aspirations.
