Colleges with Most Drafted Baseball Players

Hey, does anyone know which colleges tend to have the most baseball players go onto being drafted? I have aspirations toward the MLB, so this kind of information could be very useful in choosing a college.

While it's great to aim for the MLB, remember choosing a college encompasses various factors including academics, campus culture, location and facilities. That being said, here is some data regarding notable colleges known for feeding into Baseball drafts:

1. Arizona State University: Boasting over a 100 draftees in the past decades, this college has a strong record of turning college players into MLB professionals.

2. University of Southern California: USC has historically been a very substantial source of pro-baseball players.

3. Florida State University: FSU's Seminoles have had numerous successful athletes who have moved on to play in the MLB draft.

4. University of Texas at Austin: Longhorns have a considerable number of alumni who've been drafted. Known for a solid sports program, including baseball.

5. University of California, Los Angeles: UCLA's Bruins are well known on the baseball field as well, having produced numerous MLB draftees.

6. Louisiana State University: With solid baseball training facilities and a history of strong baseball teams, LSU Tigers have also seen a high number of their players get drafted.

Find a program that balances your academic interests with your baseball aspirations. These colleges are more akin to a launching pad than a goal in of themselves. Having said that, it's important to keep in mind that a college's history of player drafting doesn't guarantee your individual success in reaching the MLB. It's all about how you use the resources and training available to you, as well as your skill and dedication to the sport!
