Availability of Kitchens in College Dorms

So, I'm big on cooking, and I'm just wondering as I start looking at colleges... do most college dorms have kitchens available for students? Any advice from current college students would be immensely helpful!

Most traditional dorms, particularly for first-year students, will typically include a communal kitchen in a shared space. Normally, these are equipped with basic appliances such as a stove, oven, and in most cases, a refrigerator. However, the availability and condition of these facilities can vary greatly between schools and even between different dorm buildings on the same campus.

In some cases, suite or apartment-style dorms or upperclassmen housing may offer private kitchens, which could be a beneficial option for someone with a strong interest in cooking. However, these kinds of dorms might also come with a higher cost compared to traditional dorm options.
