I'm a bit stressed about the whole college application process and was wondering, how much importance do colleges place on on your first job? Would having a significant first job increase my chances of getting admitted? Would appreciate any advice!

Having work experience can certainly enhance your application, as it showcases certain skills, such as responsibility, time management, or teamwork, particularly if the job is related to your prospective major or interests. Jobs show colleges that you can handle both academic studies and other responsibilities, which can be a good indication of your future success on a college campus.
