Does anyone have a list of Forbes-ranked HBCUs?

Just trying to shortlist some colleges, and I'm curious if anyone knows which HBCUs have made it onto the Forbes list recently or historically, and what makes them stand out? Is there a noticeable difference in prestige or resources at these schools?

Forbes ranks colleges and universities on an annual basis, including HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities). While the list can change each year due to various factors, some HBCUs that have been recognized include Spelman College, Howard University, and Morehouse College, among others.

These schools stand out due to strong academic programs, community engagement, alumni networks, and their historical significance in promoting African American higher education. In terms of prestige and resources, each has its own unique offerings. For example, Howard is renowned for its research facilities and variety of programs, while Spelman, a liberal arts college for women, is celebrated for its empowering environment and academic rigor.

When considering these schools, it's important to think about what you're looking for in terms of campus culture, academic majors, and professional pathways. The prestige of an institution can be a factor, but it's by no means the only one, nor does it always align with an individual's goals and preferences. Visiting campuses, connecting with current students or alumni, and studying each school's course offerings can help you make a more informed decision.
